What an amazing experience my husband and I had hiking hut-to-hut in the Dolomites, all thanks to the organization of Viola of BergXperience! We are mediocre hikers, so we wanted someone with experience in the area to advise us. Enter Viola, who has years of hiking and climbing and always sets a path that she has done herself. In addition, we were able to rent items that we only needed to the hike, so we didn’t have to carry them around all over Italy. The Dolomites are complex: in the technicality of the trails, the weather and in booking the Rifugios, so having someone who is there and knows what you’re getting into is priceless! We felt safe and supported the whole time with BergXperience and I highly recommend them!

What an amazing experience! Viola was so wonderful to work with in planning our hut to hut hike in the Dolomites! We are a family of 5 with a 9, 6, and 1.5 year old. Viola planned the hikes perfectly for our family. She made everything stress free by planning each hike and refugio. My family and I were able to show up and enjoy 3 days of wonderful views with just the right difficulty for the hikes. She also kept in contact with us each day to make sure the hikes went well and we had arrived safely at our refugio. Viola and Rob were wonderful hosts at the B&B!

I could not recommend Viola at BergXperience enough. She planned a trip of a lifetime for our large group of four families including 7 children who were aged 6-9. She was extremely responsive and helpful in the planning stage and put together an incredible 5 day trip for us which was the perfect mix of varied terrain, gorgeous rifugios, and the right balance of choosing a route that felt safe enough for our children, yet still challenging enough that we all felt so accomplished and proud. Viola coordinated every aspect of our trip which was incredibly helpful and she was also great at checking in throughout our hike and helping as needed. Her lovely B&B is in the most beautiful town and we all enjoyed our stay there. We are already dreaming of our next hut-to-hut trip!

Viola and Berg Xperience was perfect for our three day hut-to-hut Sept hike. My wife and I joined friends- another couple -for this trip, meeting at Viola’s for our start. She personalized our tour from the start; based on our needs, distances and hopes for the trip.Our first night, Viola provided a map pre-highlighted with our route and explained each stage, including key things to know and help us ensure our plan for snacks and stops. Breakfast the next morning was wonderful with fresh coffee and bread, meats, cheeses, hard boiled eggs, fruit and more.Viola identified free, safe parking for our cars while we hiked, drove us to our starting point and allowed our friends to store their extra luggage at Villa Vittorio while we hiked.She checked in on us throughout the hike- which we received each rare moment we had cell service up along the Alta Via.Berg Xperience booked our stays at mountain huts which made everything seamless for our arrivals and meals while hiking. We stayed at Rifugio Tissi and Passo Durran/Rifugio San Sebastiano.Highly recommend anyone to book through Viola and BX who want to hike along the Alta Via and/or Dolomites and have their logistics handled.

Viola organized a 5 day hike for our group of 15 through the Dolomites, including 7 children under the age of 10. She not only found the perfect routes & Rifugios, but was available to answer a question along the way. It was truly a trip of a lifetime!

This was our best ski trip by far and it was super chill with Viola. We are long time skiers and were concerned that it was silly to hire a guide...but it was worth every penny! I highly recommend Bergxperience to have a magical ski safari and stay at all the best rifugios....we even had a sauna at 2,800 meters overlooking the sunset!
