With this ski hut tour we will visit the Kronplatz area. We will stay 2 nights in the same hut so we can explore this area properly.
From the Civetta ski area we will go to Villa in the Badia valley to take the bus to Kronplatz. We have a full day to explore this fantastic ski resort. After 2 nights we go back via Arabba.
With this ski hut tour we visit a very well-known and popular part of the Dolomiti Superski area.
Because it is located on the edge of the entire area, it is a ski resort in itself.
From Civetta we go to Villa in the Badia valley to take the bus to Kronplatz. After a full day of skiing there, we go back to go back to Villa Vittorio via the Sella Ronda.
Before and after the tour you will sleep in B&B Villa Vittorio.
Check the day to day program below
After a good night's sleep in B&B Villa Vittorio, we start this first day of the ski hut tour in the quiet Civetta ski area, which we can explore at our leisure this time. around lunchtime we head towards the CinqueTorri area to arrive at Lagazuoi on time.
This second day we first ski the beautiful descent from Lagazuoi. After the horses we go to Badia valley. Maybe we can do the World Cup descent Gran Risa before we get on the bus to Kronplatz. After the bus it is still a bit of skiing to the hut in the middle of the area.
The third day we stay in Kronplatz all day to explore the vast area. Because we come back to the same hut, we ski all day without a backpack.
This last day of our beautiful ski hut tour we have travel a considerable distance. We get up on time as we have to ski a while before we reach the bus. Back in the Badia valley we enter the Sella Ronda towards Arabba to go back to the Civetta area. From there we will descend to the Zildo Valley, to go back to Villa Vittorio.
BergXperience is a small organization, operating from our own B&B in Forno di Zoldo. We literally welcome you at our home and are happy to help you decide what to take with you and what not to take with you in your backpack. What you don't bring with you can leave it safely with us in the B&B until we get back. Both before and (of course) during the hut-to-hut tour, we are always willing to answer all your questions.

The first and last night of the hut to hut tour you will stay in Villa Vittorio, our own B&B. Villa Vittorio has some doublerooms and more-bed rooms. There is a shared bathroom.
Dinner at Villa Vittorio Dinner is not inlcuded in the overnight stay at Villa Vittorio. Bur of course we won't let you go to sleep without dinner. The first evening we will have dinner at the pizzeria in the village below (10 miutes walk). The last evening we will end with a dinner at a restauarnt with local specialties, to end our nice tour together in style. The costs for both dinners are not included in the total price.
In the rifugios you will sleep in a multi-bed room or a dormitory. The bathrooms are always shared in the rifugios. When you arrive at the refuge you will be asked to fill in the menu. The rifugios offer a 3-course menu: a primo piatto (1st course), a secondo piatto (2nd course) and a dolce (dessert). The next morning at 7:30 the breakfast will be served, so we can leave in time.
Although rifugios have long ceased to be simple mountain huts, you shouldn't expect the luxury of a hotel either. It is still a stay on top of the mountain, where all the supplies have to be brought up and all the waste has to be transported back down. The water supply may also be limited at altitude. For example, not all refuges have drinkable tap water. Compare it to a simple guest house.
As you will bring all your luggage for the tour in your backpack, it is important to pack as little as possible. You carry your own stuff for a large part of the day, so you can take less with you as you are used to. A backpack of 25-30 liters is more than enough to carry everything you need in 4 days.
Actually you will only need the following things:
To make it easy for you I enclosed a packing list .
It is important to be able to ski a red slope easily and comfortable and also to have no fear of skiing unknown slopes. I try to take the level into account as much as possible, but as we ski from one area to another, there is sometimes no alternative to certain slopes and you may have to descend a slightly more difficult slope. Basically, all the slopes we do are red or blue. We only do black runs in consultation with the group.
