The Anello Zoldano, or the ring of Zoldo, is a hut-to-hut trek around the Zoldo Valley. This is a strenuous tour for experienced mountain hikers. At a few places in the tour there is a piece of Via Ferrata, but that can be avoided.
In 6-7 days you will cover about 90 km, starting and ending in Forno di Zoldo. During the tour you will go along the Piz Mezzodi, the Piz San Sebastiano, over or around the Monte Civetta and underneath the Monte Pelmo and then via the Monte Rite end at the Bosconero massif, from where you walk back to Forno di Zoldo.

BergXperience is a small organization that operates from our own B&B in Forno di Zoldo. We literally welcome you to our home. We can help you decide what to pack and what not to pack in your backpack. You can leave everything you don't take with you, at the B&B until you come back. Both before and (of course) during the hut to hut tour, we are happy to answer all your questions.

This trip is covered by the guarantee scheme that is carried out by STO Garant.
As soon as we agree on the travel proposal, I will send you a booking confirmation and register the booking with STO Garant. When the rifugios are confirmed, I will send an invoice with the final amount.
When booking, a deposit of € 40 pppn is requested; This amount should be paid within 1 week after booking. The deposit is non-refundable.
STO Garant will send you an email with the request to make the first payment to them. They will also send you an email for the second payment, which must be made no later than 6 weeks before the start. If you book within 6 weeks before the start, you should pay the entire amount in 1x.
About 4 weeks before the start of the tour I will send you a confirmation and general information for your trip.
As all tours start from Forno di Zoldo, you will sleep the night before the tour in Villa Vittorio, our own B&B. Villa Vittorio has 2-person rooms and 1 multi-bed room. The bathroom is shared.
In the rifugios you will sleep in a multi-bed room or a dormitory. The bathrooms are always shared in the rifugios. When you arrive at the rifugio, you will be asked to fill in the menu. The rifugios offer a 3-course menu: a primo piatto (1st course), a secondo piatto (2nd course) and a dolce (dessert). The next morning from 7 a.m./8:30 a.m., breakfast is ready, so you can continue your hike in time.
Although rifugios have long ceased to be simple mountain huts, you shouldn't expect the luxury of a hotel either. It is still a stay on top of the mountain, where all the supplies have to be brought up and all the waste has to be transported back down. The water supply may also be limited at altitude. Similarly, not all huts have drinkable water. Compare it to a simple guest house.
On your request, I can try to make a reservation for a smaller room. Not all rifugios have those, and if they do, they only have a few, which are often booked up very fast. For a smaller room, a separate surcharge per person will be charged, this will be indicated in the travel proposal.
In any case, what you need is a good backpack and hiking boots A/B with good profile and a rain jacket.
