BergXperience is a small organization, operating from our own B&B in Forno di Zoldo. We literally welcome you at our home and are happy to help you decide what to take with you and what not to take with you in your backpack. What you don't bring with you can leave it safely with us in the B&B until we get back. Both before and (of course) during the hut-to-hut tour, we are always willing to answer all your questions.

This tour is covered by the guarantee scheme that is carried out by STO Garant. As soon as you made your booking, I will send you an invoice and register the booking with STO Garant.
A deposit of € 150 is required when booking,-. This amount must be paid within 2 weeks after booking. STO Garant will send you an email with the request to make this first payment to them. They will also send you an email for the second payment, which must be made no later than 6 weeks before departure. If you book within 6 weeks before departure, you must pay the entire amount at once.
About 4 weeks before the start of your tour I will send you a confirmation and general information about your trip by email.
The first and last night you will sleep in Villa Vittorio, our own B&B. Villa Vittorio has some double rooms and multi-bed rooms. There is a shared bathroom.
In the rifugios you will sleep in a multi-bed room or a dormitory. The bathrooms are always shared in the rifugios. When you arrive at the refuge you will be asked to fill in the menu. The rifugios offer a 3-course menu: a primo piatto (1st course), a secondo piatto (2nd course) and a dolce (dessert). The next morning at 7:30 the breakfast will be served, so we can leave in time.
Although rifugios have long ceased to be simple mountain huts, you shouldn't expect the luxury of a hotel either. It is still a stay on top of the mountain, where all the supplies have to be brought up and all the waste has to be transported back down. The water supply may also be limited at altitude. For example, not all refuges have drinkable tap water. Compare it to a simple guest house.
As you will bring all your luggage in your backpack for the tour, it is important to pack as little as possible. You carry your own stuff for a large part of the day, so you can't take as much with you as you are used to. A backpack of 25-30 liters is more than enough to carry everything you need in 4 days.
Actually you will only need the following things:
To make it easy for you I enclosed a packing list .
It is important to be able to ski a red slope easily and comfortable and also to have no fear of skiing unknown slopes. I try to take the level into account as much as possible, but as we ski from one area to another, there is sometimes no alternative to certain slopes and you may have to descend a slightly more difficult slope. Basically, all the slopes we do are red or blue. We only do black runs in consultation with the group.
